About this painting: "Lost Coast Dreams" was influenced by various places on the Humboldt and Mendocino Lost Coast, a combination of views with a Trinidad style rock tree island. Coastal redwoods tower over pink lupines flowering while waiting for the fog to roll in. Such scenes encouraged watercolor artist Kim Reid to relocate to the Lost Coast region.
