About this painting:
"Sequoia Reflections" This reflective painting is based on a view from the Drury-Chaney loop trail at the north end of the Avenue of the Giants. This avenue is a 31-mile scenic drive, the longest stretch of virgin redwood forest in the world, in the heart of the Redwoods State Park. These forests are known for their many ferns, such as the Sword Fern in the foreground. Humboldt is one of the most beautiful areas in the Pacific Northwest giving immense inspiration to this artist.
