About this drawing: "Trinidad Dreams" was influenced by Trinidad State Beach and various places on the Humboldt and Mendocino Lost Coast. These seascape views encouraged watercolor artist Kim Reid to relocate to the north coast region. She feels the lost coast and Trinidad are some of the most beautiful areas in the Pacific Northwest. Her pencil drawings are preliminary studies prior to starting the watercolor paintings. She enjoys showing her work in progress and feels pencil/charcoal art has a creative black and white purity.
